Water Works Ponds is Alberta’s leading water feature specialist. With the instruction and education you receive from the course you will have the knowledge and skills to successfully build a beautiful, trouble free Just a Falls Water Feature.
From the course you will learn how to:
- Follow Proper sequence of steps for successful installation
- Choose an ideal location
- Proper excavation techniques
- Properly use and install of underlay and pond liner
- Connect and install the pump, filter, manifold components and waterfill unit
- Waterfall rock placement and construction
Your Water Works Ponds instructor will also guide you through the importance and role of:
- Deciding on what size and shape is best for your Just a Falls Water Feature
- Aesthetics and filtration properties of the rock
- Assembling and connecting the plumbing and waterfill valve
- Effective use and selection of lighting
- Grading, berming and working out the cost and quantity of rock required
- Correct techniques of moving large rock
- Protecting your liner
- Aquatic plants
- An effective maintenance program
